How to get there?

Public transit is the easiest and most efficient way to access the festivities. Several routes drop you off right next to the sites so you can fully enjoy the event.

On December 31, late-night service will be available. From 8:00 p.m., additional vehicles will be deployed to increase frequency on routes 800, 801, and 807.

Food Offer – December 31

To wrap up the year in style, treat yourself to a delicious gourmet selection!

From 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., four food trucks will be ready to delight your taste buds: Mademoiselle Croquignole, Greg's Diner, Oh Mon Kogo, and Chez Denise. Come enjoy their specialties and soak up the festive atmosphere!

Prohibited items

  • Alcohol, legal and illegal drugs  
  • Portable chair
  • Professional audio, video, and photo equipment
  • Fireworks or firecrackers
  • Items that may pose a danger to the safety of other attendees (bladed weapons, blunt objects, umbrellas, etc.)

NOTE: No cloakroomavailable.

Allowed Items

  • Baby bottle or sippy cup
  • Guide dog or assistance dog (with proof)
  • Light snack
  • Water bottle under 500 ml
  • Prescription medication in a labeled container
  • Small backpack or handbag

NOTE: Strollers and sleds are allowed but not recommended. No cloakroom available.

Can Recycling

To make sure your cans can be refunded, it’s important to place them in the recycling bins without crushing them or removing the tab. It’s simple: keep your cans intact, drop them in the right bin, and you’re good to go! We’re partnering with Go Consigne to ensure efficient collection and maximize their reuse.

Good Neighborliness

When leaving at the end of the evening, please keep noise to a minimum to respect the peace of neighborhood residents and avoid entering private properties. Thank you for helping create a pleasant atmosphere for everyone.  

Take care of the environment around you and the historic sites of Old Quebec  : keep the area clean and respect this exceptional heritage.

At Toboggan, your safety and well-being are our priority. The Brigade is present to assist anyone experiencing distress or encountering disrespectful or dangerous behavior.   

Notify a security team member or a Brigade member (wearing a blue jacket) if you witness such situations. Together, let's make Toboggan a festive, safe, and inclusive space for everyone.

What is Toboggan?

Toboggan is a winter music festival in Québec City celebrating New Year’s Eve. And it’s free!

Launched in 2019, Toboggan returns for its 6th edition from December 29 to 31, 2025.

It’s the New Year’s Eve party in Québec City to close out 2025 in a big way!

Toboggan is produced by the BLEUFEU team.

Where is Toboggan?

The Toboggan festival sites are located in the heart of Old Québec, in the Grande Allée area.

Assemblée-Nationale Square

Electronic music performances in the evenings from December 29 to 31.
Free general admission. Exclusive zones also available on December 31 ($).

George V Square (free access)

Leclerc Family Cinema on December 29, 30 and 31 in the afternoon.
Québec music and a rebroadcast of the Assemblée-Nationale Square show on the evening of December 31.

Are children welcome at Toboggan?

Children are welcome at Toboggan sites. Access is FREE for everyone from December 29 to 31 at Assemblée-Nationale Square and George V Square.

Strollers and sleds are not recommended but are allowed, except in exclusive zones.

Exclusive Zones (Gold Zone and Silver Zone) are available for purchase on the evening of December 31. Access is paid for everyone, regardless of age. A children’s rate is available for the Silver Zone only.
